Sheldon > Sometimes it's just right under your nose. My patio one morning. I love this shot . . .
Sheldon > Loxahatchee Game Preserve, Florida
Sheldon > Pawtuxet Village harbor, RI. Shot from a bridge about 15 feet from a wonderful little home-made ice cream shop. See 'river ril' shot from the other side of bridge. And yes, I had delicious ice cream.
Sheldon > Garden chairs under Japanese oak, Providence, RI. The empty chairs are fraught with symbolism . . .
Sheldon > Dendrobium, my patio. Infrared. This den, a tall variety, is in bloom 12 months. Consistently produces 'kikis' from which we pot new 'clones'. This is a pseudo-infra, produced in PhotoShop. Canon 20D.
Sheldon > Watchin the Wakadohatchee. Infrared, Canon 20D. Senior citizen contemplating nature.
Sheldon > Atlantis lagoon. The water and trees are real. The rest? a fun shot, none-the-less. Dimage 7 with infrared filter.
Sheldon > Atlantis lagoon 2. Infrared made with my Minolta dimage 7. The wind held for me.
Sheldon > Mission Bay. Infrared; Minolta Dimage 7. A true infrared where a lens filter was used to block all visible light from the camera sensor. All greens record as near white.
Sheldon > River ril. Pawtuxet Village harbor, RI. I can still hear the sound of the mini-falls.
Sheldon > River ril 2. Pawtuxet Village harbor, RI. Toned B&W infrared. Another viewpoint from the bridge. Typical of infra, the highlights in the rushing water held, and the green leaves 'blew out' a bit.
Sheldon > Tada! Judi playing twins. Valley of Fire, NV (25 minutes from Las Vegas). Red rock, trails, caves, petroglyphs, petrified wood; one of my favorite places on the planet!
Sheldon > Desert rose. Quasi-infrared with minor hand coloring.
Sheldon > Baby robin. Long ago, my children brought home an hours-old hatchling that had fallen from a nest. They nurtured it to feather and this is 'Robbie' looking back prior to flying off to freedom.
Sheldon > Atlantis falls. Infrared, Canon 20D. This resorty, fake place did have a few things of photographic interest. I enjoyed making their fake falls look as real as possible.
Sometimes it's just right under your nose. My patio one morning. I love this shot . . .
